Life can be difficult to navigate, especially when past experiences, loss, stress, or emotional struggles begin to affect the present. I work with adults experiencing a variety of challenges and provide individualized, compassionate care based on each person’s experiences and goals. My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), with specialized training in trauma-focused therapies including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) & Trauma

Trauma can affect the way we think, feel, relate to others, and experience the world around us. PTSD may involve intrusive memories, anxiety, avoidance, emotional distress, or feeling constantly on guard. I use trauma-focused approaches such as EMDR and ART to help clients process difficult experiences and work toward healing.

Anxiety

Anxiety can show up as excessive worry, racing thoughts, difficulty relaxing, physical tension, or feeling overwhelmed by everyday life. Therapy can help you better understand your anxiety, identify patterns that contribute to it, and develop healthier ways to manage it.

Depression

Depression can affect mood, motivation, relationships, sleep, and your ability to enjoy things you once valued. Therapy provides a space to understand what you’re experiencing, challenge unhelpful patterns, and take meaningful steps toward feeling more engaged and hopeful.

Grief & Bereavement

Grief is a natural response to loss, but that doesn’t mean it is easy to navigate. Whether you have experienced the death of someone you love or another significant loss, therapy can provide a safe space to process your emotions, make sense of your experience, and learn how
to move forward while honoring what—and who—you have lost.

Stress Management

Life’s responsibilities can sometimes become overwhelming. Therapy can help you recognize sources of stress, establish healthy boundaries, develop effective coping strategies, and create greater balance in your life.

Men’s Issues

Men may face unique pressures surrounding identity, relationships, work, emotional expression, and expectations about what it means to be strong. Therapy can provide a space to explore these challenges openly and without judgment while developing healthier ways to understand and navigate them.

End-of-Life Issues

Facing the end of life, whether personally or alongside a loved one, can bring difficult emotions and profound questions. Therapy can provide support as you navigate fear, grief, uncertainty, meaning, relationships, and the many emotional challenges that can accompany this stage of life.

My goal is not simply to help you manage symptoms, but to understand the experiences and patterns underlying them. Together, we can work toward meaningful change and develop tools that support greater peace, resilience, and well-being. For clients who desire it, I also offer an optional Christian counseling perspective, incorporating faith and biblical principles into the therapeutic process while respecting each individual’s beliefs and goals.
